When religion forgets its soul

In the name of religion, spirituality is sold, while spirituality is compassion, respect, self-awareness, being responsible, self-reflection, and harmony, awareness that the Divine is one. Religion, along with rituals and a pinch of fear, in its purest form, was never meant to divide and control humanity. It was created to guide people through life, to cultivate discipline, compassion, ethical values, hygiene, community, growth, and a deeper spiritual connection. Gradually, the pinch of fear became the primary element in religion and rituals, transforming into a power struggle and a tool for political and financial control, and sadly, the purpose of leading people to spirituality was lost.

Which sadly is still being used for wars, to kill people, destroy countries, societies, communities, play superiors, instigate people against each other, to make money in the name, to cut and destroy trees, forests, mountains, water bodies, farming lands being sold, build more and more worship houses, a concrete jungle, all in the name of progress. What planet are we leaving behind for the next generation? Is there going to be a planet? We need progress, growth, but at what cost?  Why are we not seeing it? Why are we destroying Mother Nature and ourselves? Why do we need to create FOMO in everything for others? Because of FOMO, the demand and supply, the Earth is being ruined, torn into pieces, so are we.

From 2020, the Earth–Mother is going through changes to heal herself, SHE IS CRYING IN PAIN! COVID was just a starting point (she is coming to take her pound of flesh, which we have been ripping ). 2026 has seen wars, financial crises, floods, cloud bursts, earthquakes, extreme weather, couples not opting for children; the world population dropping this is no coincidence – this is all the Higher power at play. There is still to come. The next few years are going to be bad. And if we still do not get our act together, it will go on. This is not to scare you, this is a gentle reminder that we humans can change and help the Earth heal by living from the place of self-awareness, compassion, living with integrity when no one is watching, choosing kindness, not greed, living from the place of need and want, protecting rather than exploiting nature, others and ourselves.

Just like the way John the Baptist spoke to the people, Krishna in the Gita, and prophets in the scripture from time to time were and are only guiding us as good shepherds to safer and greener pastures, with the only request to take care and not abuse. This itself is spirituality – living from the place of self-awareness. What name you want to give to that power does not matter, what matters is your connection with that power, how you flourish in that power, how and what you understand about the power, and what relationship you have with that power, while having a relationship with yourself and how you relate to others. Spirituality comes from a place of love, respect, growth, and compassion, not abuse and fear. Live in harmony and coexist with nature and each other.
