“The Planets Aren’t Here to Punish You—They’re Here to Guide You”
Lately, I’ve noticed how fear is unnecessarily spread with every planetary shift, full moon, new moon, and festival, you name it. Social media is overflowing with dos and don’ts, alongside rituals that generate panic among people instead of fostering understanding. During festive seasons, countless videos dictate which rituals to perform and how to execute them. While these rituals hold significance, what truly matters is building a genuine connection with Divine Energy and the Universe. Engage with them as you would with your parents, siblings, or friends. Just as you offer food and flowers to your loved ones, extend the same courtesy to the Divine. Establishing this connection takes time, just like any meaningful relationship. Once you do, you will find yourself in dialogue with them, arguing and loving them It’s a wonderful experience.

Furthermore, numerous manifestation reels and videos claim to attract money, but very few emphasize the need for hard work. Manifestation is powerful, but it thrives only when paired with effort in pursuing your goals. Many of these videos showcase lavish lifestyles to entice you, yet those who live such lives have dedicated themselves to hard work and manifesting their dreams. If money were solely a product of manifestation, poverty wouldn’t exist in the world. Manifestation is effective, but it demands action and commitment—an essential truth that is rarely discussed. Let’s face it: fear sells. That said, a small percentage of content genuinely focuses on personal growth.

Consider the recent Saturn transition on March 29th—everyone was frantic about what to do to avoid negative effects. But why all the fear? During my meditation today, Shani Maharaj (that’s how I refer to Him) urged me to call my cousin, whom I hadn’t spoken to in months, and tell her to stop stressing. He pointed out that she wasn’t sleeping well and was overly worried about my upcoming visit. Then, He shared something profound:
“Tell her I mean no harm. I’m just here to help people do their work right.”
The fear she experienced was largely a byproduct of social media. Many people have portrayed Him as a villain. Yet, He explained it clearly—growing up in a Catholic family, my focus was on deeds. So why should that perspective shift simply because I married into a Hindu family and gained access to more knowledge? Knowledge should empower you, not fill you with fear.
He provided me with a telling analogy: Why do children fear going to school? Because they haven’t completed their homework. But when they’ve done the work, they look forward to going; they aren’t intimidated by the teacher or the school. The same principle applies here: if you do your work, you excel; if not, you fail. I don’t fail you; you fail yourself if you don’t prepare or allow fear to overshadow your understanding.
This revelation hit me hard. Planets will continue to move—that’s their nature. Our responsibility is to focus on our work. Just as we adapt to summer by wearing lighter clothes, applying sunscreen, and staying hydrated, we cannot stop living just because it’s hot! Similarly, we should strive to understand planetary movements instead of succumbing to fear. Their impact hinges entirely on our actions.
This experience has been a powerful wake-up call. I recognize now that much of the fear being propagated is entirely unwarranted. Instead of panicking over Saturn or any planetary shift, we must focus on our actions, integrity, and personal growth. The planets aren’t out to get us—they’re here to guide us
