The weight of this glass doesn’t matter. It all depends on how long we hold it. The longer we hold, more discomfort we cause ourselves. So what do we do, we either switch hands or keep it down, then lift it as and when we need to take a sip. And if we hold on to the glass, we eventually cause ourselves pain. How?? Well first the fingers will pain, then it will travel to your wrist then to your hand will pain and then the pain travels to your shoulder, surprised.
Try it! Why only glass…
Even when we hold a pen or pencil to write after every interval, we keep the pen| or pencil down,
rest our fingers n then start writing again.
If holding a glass or a pencil can give us this discomfort, imagine all the baggage we carry
consciously or unconsciously and what discomfort that creates in our lives (emotionally, mentally
and then physically). Now, what is the baggage we carry—blame game, vengeance, anger, greed,
fear, jealousy, control, sadness, pain, bottled-up emotions etc… These are some of the attachments that we know we are holding on to, but the dangerous attachments are those which we are holding on to unconsciously- when we keep saying—I don’t care, I got over it, I have let it go, and it does not affect me, but then why an incident, word gets us to triggered and gets us all rattled up, why we are not ok? Because we have not detached, we have not gotten over it. Every trigger is a blessing if you see it…. It’s reminding us to look into it, work on and let go!
All the attachments we hold are energy (everything is energy, every deed—the good, bad, ugly,
the universe, nature, you n me, we all are energy) all these attachments (energy) we store and
carry inside us without an outlet will turn harmful—only to harm us emotionally, mentally and
physically. Most of the time we carry baggage, not only from this life – but lives that we have lived in the past. The reason we are carrying it is that we have not shed it then n we not shedding it now. Till we don’t shed It, the baggage or pattern as we call it will keep repeating. The only thing that changes is the weight and its side effects.
For example, through my session experience-pain in the back, shoulder n limbs is because of controlling nature, and carrying others’ responsibilities. Not being able to stand up for oneself…to name a few. Stones in the gallbladder are straight energy of anger (who better than me to know that… Igot gallbladder surgery done in 2008- I was going through the roughest time in my life and had held so much anger against people who hurt me. When the spiritual transition happened and when I did my hypnotherapy studies and addressed the issue during sessions…the cause was the storage of anger, it was then addressed and healed). Sharing this only to let you know I have gone through it too…n I know what it feels like to hold on to things that only destroy. And how beautiful and light it feels to let go, and heal.
Everybody, every soul goes through this cycle…what is important, what do we do about it..???
