We all know the Parshuram, Karan n scorpion’s story. Yes, the same one where the scorpion stings Karan & when Parshuram realises that he is not sage but a Kshatriya(warrior) & curses him. We know that curse n how that curse helped Pandavas to win the battle. But what we have not reflected on is who was the scorpion n why did the scorpion wait for Karan to almost finish the training 🤔??? The entire Mahabharata would have been nothing without KRISHNA. Here also KESHAV knowing how things would play, took a form of a scorpion to sting Karan to make Parshuram realize Karan’s lie that he was not sage(Parshuram, thou was a Guru of Bheeshma n Dorna, had pledged not to train warriors, as they would use their mighty skills to conquer land n wealth n there would be so much of death n sorrow after that). He would train sages to fight like a warrior only to fight evil.
Krishna’s role did not stop at the scorpion only, it was also Krishna in the form of the curse that Parshuram gave Karan.
Karan was very very dear to Krishna. He knew his Identity (no surprise there). But he also loved him dearly for his values on Karam n Dharma.
Lord knows everything, how everyone’s lives will shape up, he knows our purpose in life, he knows what we have to shed, let go, he rewards us for right deeds n at the same time he nudges us for every wrong we do. Everything happens for reason be it good or bad.
It was because Krishna, after Karan’s death, broke the ego n pride of the Pandavas by revealing Karan’s identity n his strength. N the role of the curse( if u see the entire battle it was only Krishna against the wrong)…that made them win the battle. Because without the curse Karan was unstoppable.
There is so much one can learn, reflect n work on.
